Spoiler alert for those that want to wait until the actual event. Be sure to check back periodically for updates as they come in.
I purposely wanted to wait until posting this and the reason why is split in two. First, iPhone 13 rumors have been making their way around the tech community since January and at that time you could have expected anything on the phone. Mock-ups shown that the phone was foldable, had a keyboard, and others predicted it even had 4 cameras. None of that is even close to what we know now. The second was reason was I needed a hands on with iOS 15. As I mentioned in a previous article Apple normally builds the software to match what the hardware is capable of. There hasn't, as of now, been a major leak in the software code revealing something ground breaking about the upcoming iPhone but from using iOS 15 I can predict this: Apple is focusing on the user experience and they want to give us something new.
What the Specs Gone Be?
As of now here's what I'm hearing of what the internals and externals of the iPhone 13 could be:
improved 5G modem
120hz Pro Motion display with the same always on feature we saw on the last Apple Watch
smaller notch which could mean improved front facing camera and Face ID performance
improved rear camera performance
better battery life
improved water/dust resistance
faster processor, whether it be A15 bionic or M1 is unknown but my hopes are that they've gone with the M1 chip as the rest of their devices now have that chipset
up to 4 different color schemes: black, silver, rose gold, and sunset gold
up to 4 models following the same nomenclature as the 2020 lineup: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max
iOS 15 pre-installed

As of now the design language of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini are both showing a diagonal camera display. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will keep the same triple camera setup as the previous models.
